It is with great disappointment that we are officially canceling the 11th Annual John Keogh Rugby Festival. The first time in 11 seasons we have to cancel the festival due to the long winter and snow levels on the field. I know this is a useful tool to help teach the players the game, but we have to react to this adversity the best way possible and also in a positive manner.
I highly recommend you do everything possible to prepare your players for the upcoming season and utilize resources around you. We will need to hit the ground running when the first opportunity rises to get outside and play. Canceling the season is not an option.
On a positive note, please encourage your players and staff to check out our new website and logo at:
Special thanks to George van der Walt for designing the logo and Danny Smith for getting the website up and running.
If any other inquiries are needed in regards to the cancellation of the festival, don't hesitate to contact me.
