Rugby Manitoba will be hosting an Introduction to Competition coaching clinic.  We are pleased to announce that John Long from Alberta will be conducting the course alongside Manitoba’s own, Guy McKim.  To register for this clinic please visit coach.rugbycanada.ca .  No offline registrations will be accepted.  Once you have registered you will have to complete the pre-task workbook and have your 2013 IRB Rugby Ready certificate.  This must be printed out and ready to hand in the first day of the course.

Cost $250 – this includes the $50 evaluator fee for practical assessment.

As some of you may know the YMCA Spring run is coming up.  The date of this event is Sunday, May 26th. They offer both 5k and 10k walk/fun runs and timed runs in 5k, 10k, 15k, and 20k. 

This is a great way to kick start your fitness for the 2013 rugby season while socializing and making new friends. 10k walk/fun run is the choice of the social director, but please feel free to challenge yourself and choose a different run.

We have signed up for "interac" payments for the online process. So now we can accept major Credit Card and bank cards at registration night!

 

What: BBRFC Registration Night  (pay your dues, have some beverages and socialize)

Who: Anyone who is interested in being involved with the Barbs (player/Social/etc.)

When: Thursday April 25th, 7pm-9pm (drop in between those hours)

Where: Canad Inns Brandon- Roadhouse

 

DIAPER Party- Bring a package of diapers to support new Barbarian parents Sean & Claire Common and Shawn Sarkonak & Kiya Townsend.

 

DUES are $225 for Rookie Barbs, and $250 for returning barbs. This includes a pair of shorts and socks, insurance, league fees, etc. We do not want fees to be a roadblock for anyone, so speak with a member of the executive if you see an issue with being able to pay your dues accordingly.

Thursday March 21st, drop in to the Roadhouse (Canad Inns) between 7pm-9pm for the BBRFC Meet & Greet! If you have friends, co-workers, gym buddies, randoms from the coffee shop who are interested in playing rugby- bring them along to meet the club in an informal evening of beverages and to learn about the sport of rugby!
